In all of the holiday areas of the UK
there are many properties which are used for self catering holiday letting, and
no more so than in the Scottish Highlands. These properties come in all forms,
shapes and sizes - flats, apartments, traditional cottages, modern bungalows,
barn conversions, etc.
With some experience of running a self
catering holiday letting business myself, I offer the following services to
others running similar businesses - click on each heading to see full details:-

 | Providing a service to help promote
your property with appropriate advertising, etc. I would generally
recommend that this should be done via a website
as this is by far the most powerful and cost-effective method of
advertising your property. |
Handling enquiries by letter,
telephone, e-mail, and from website response forms. |
Dealing with all the administration
relating to arranging bookings, collecting payments, etc. |
Keeping detailed records of all aspects
of the letting, including a spreadsheet of payments received and
due, and a database of client records - most important if you are to
be able to keep in touch with your clients so that you obtain repeat
business from them. |
If required, I can provide some
assistance in compiling the figures you will require to complete
your Tax Return. Income from furnished holiday letting
property is treated differently from other income and it is
important to be aware of this and to take full advantage of the
available reliefs. |

so, please give me a call - I may well be able to help you. |
